Our successful Interiors business are currently looking for a motivated individual to assist our project teams deliver large fit-out & refurbishment projects to key clients. Projects range from $3M to $30M in value.

The role requires effective subcontract administration, an understanding of exceptional client service and the ability to identify and minimise our exposure to contractual and financial risk.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and check large subcontract packages, scopes &l ettings, procurement schedules and assist with head contract, progress claims,delay claims & external variations
  • Review, negotiate, administer and finalise subcontracts
  • Manage and track project expenditure, check and process all subcontractor claims and creditor invoices
  • Check and obtain monthly insurances
  • Prepare and administer the project HSE system – safety is our number one priority
  • Prepare payment schedules in accordance with the Security of Payments Act
  • Administer RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Document control of all drawings

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • A building or related tertiary qualification
  • At least 2 years previous experience, where you have negotiated and let contracts across a range of trades
  • Previous experience in commercial fitout and refurbishment will be highly regarded
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Jobpac advantageous
