Contracts Manager
Buildcorp have recently been awarded a major hospital master plan project at the impressive Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga which has a development value of $180m. We have an opportunity for a motivated professional who understands the value of client care to join our strong delivery team to deliver this project and become a long term part of our successful team.
We are currently seeking a qualified Contracts Manager to support our project team in the management of designated projects from handover to finalisation and review, for projects valued from $10m to $50m.

The role is responsible for the management and administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the delivery of quality, safe and profitable projects; and to identify and minimise exposure to contractual and financial risk.
Major responsibilities include:
- Subcontractor Management - In-depth understanding of, and the ability to manage, all facets of the subcontract process. This begins at tendering through preparation or works packages, scopes, subcontract letting, payment, and post project completion.
- Contract Risk Management - Proficient in all contractual matters and the ability to communicate this knowledge in a practical and meaningful way to the project team.
- Operational Excellence – Learn, understand and comply with Buildcorp business systems, administer projects ensuring accuracy of records and timely communications of all project details.
- Financial Performance - Use your Jobpac skills to assist the project manager with project financial reporting and analysis.
- Safety – Detailed knowledge of current HS&E regulations and requirements to ensure Safety compliance on all projects within your role and responsibilities.
To be considered for this position you will ideally have a building-related qualification with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, you will possess outstanding communication, time management and negotiation skills and be competent in your understanding of construction programmes and plans. Detailed knowledge and use of Jobpac or similar financial control software is a definite advantage.
