Buildcorp realises that its future leaders will gain benefit by receiving quality direction from the very beginning of their careers, enabling them to develop outstanding core skills.

The cadet training program has been developed not only to assist in attracting candidates of a high calibre and great cultural fit, but also as an investment in the long-term future of the organisation.

The program is of a three-year duration, providing a mix of both formal training and practical experience. Cadet’s time is allocated across several areas of the business and aims to equip them with a broad skill set. Cadets are given a mentor for each area of practice, and will be required to undertake consistent reviews and feedback to ensure set goals are achieved.

Intake for the program occurs each January, with successful applicant benefiting from flexibility of working hours around exam time (study leave) and the opportunity to work on exciting projects alongside highly skilled staff.

To qualify for the program, you must have completed one of the following:

> one year full-time (or equivalent part-time) at university in a building-related course

> one year full-time (or equivalent part-time) at TAFE in a building-related course

> 1-2 years relevant industry experience, with a willingness to commence studies
