  • Stage 1 works commenced in October 2009 whilst the base builder was still onsite completing the library shell. The fitout required detailed co-ordination of new major plant / equipment and essential services including a major re-design of the mechanical system.

    The new fitout includes timber walls and timber seating feature elements, feature joinery elements, workstations, features ceilings and a hanging sculpture. Further works included feature lighting, new staff areas, new storage areas, new soft finishes (carpet, vinyl, wall paper, paint, pinboards, wall panels, operable walls) and themed seating / meeting areas. Stage 1 works were completed in February 2010.
